\nObservations\n<\/h3>
\nFlammer syndrome describes symptoms and signs that result from a predis\u00adpo\u00adsi\u00adtion to increased (vascular) sensi\u00adti\u00advity. At the core of this syndrome is primary vascular dysre\u00adgu\u00adla\u00adtion (PVD), charac\u00adte\u00adrized by an altered reac\u00adti\u00advity of the blood vessels, espe\u00adci\u00adally to cold or emotional stress. This dysre\u00adgu\u00adla\u00adtion can have various conse\u00adquences, from unplea\u00adsant sensa\u00adtions to serious vaso\u00adspasms, which in rare cases can even cause tissue infarc\u00adtions.

More commonly, PVD leads to an unstable oxygen supply and increased produc\u00adtion of oxygen free radi\u00adcals. This, if it exceeds the body\u2019s natural defense mecha\u00adnisms, can lead to oxida\u00adtive stress and slowly accu\u00admu\u00adla\u00adting tissue damage.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
