Women’s health & hormones

Holistic approach for a harmonious hormonal balance.
Women’s health is closely linked to their hormonal system, and imbalances can have a variety of effects on well-being. We offer a holistic approach that focuses on the individual needs of women. We identify the causes of hormonal imbalances and develop customized therapies.

SYMPTOMS

Hormonal imbalances/premenstrual syndrome

Irregular cycles, mood swings and other hormonal complaints have a significant impact on everyday life. Many women suffer from irritability or depressive moods before their period. Common physical complaints include breast tenderness, headaches, sleep disorders and abdominal pain.

Painful period/endometriosis

Years of pain during periods can be a sign of endometriosis. The severe discomfort experienced by many women often has a significant impact on their lives at other times in their cycle and can lead to a deterioration in their quality of life.

Menopausal symptoms

Hot flushes, sleep disorders and mood swings are the classic symptoms during the menopause. There may also be other, less well-known symptoms that affect your well-being. These include joint pain, dizziness, tinnitus, frozen shoulder, high cholesterol and many more.

Approach

Observations

In particular, women’s health and their individual complaints are often not taken as seriously as men’s health and complaints. This is why the term ‚gender health gap‘ has been around for some time. This describes the discrepancy in medical research and treatment between the sexes.

We observe that many women are often left alone with their specific health problems due to this gap in medical care. At our center, we therefore attach particular importance to recognizing and taking women’s individual health challenges seriously.

Forms of therapy

At our center, we focus on a holistic approach to women’s health, offering various specialized forms of therapy that are individually tailored to the needs and hormonal imbalances of our patients. For example, we work with individualized hormone replacement therapy based on bioidentical hormones. This is carefully dosed and monitored to meet the specific needs of each patient.

In addition, we attach great importance to nutritional advice and therapy, as a balanced diet is crucial for hormonal health. Our nutrition specialists develop tailor-made nutrition plans that are specifically aimed at alleviating complaints such as PMS and menopausal symptoms.
We also use phytotherapy to gently correct hormonal imbalances. Here we specifically use plant extracts and herbs that are known for their positive effect on the hormonal system. In addition, we recommend specially tailored exercise programs that not only promote physical well-being but also contribute to hormonal balance.

We also advise our patients on environmental and lifestyle changes. We help them to identify and adjust factors in their daily lives that could affect their hormonal health.
„Restoring hormonal balance is key to improving quality of life and well-being. Every woman is unique, and so should her treatment.“

GOOD TO KNOW

We look forward to welcoming you to our clinic. We take enough time to understand your medical history. Based on your previous findings, the completed medical history form and our diagnostics, we will create a customized treatment plan for you. Please note that you should come with an empty stomach (water is permitted) to enable us to make an accurate diagnosis.

We attach great importance to cost transparency and will inform you of the costs incurred before treatment begins. Please note that private health insurance policies are very unlikely to cover all services. In such cases, you will have to bear the costs yourself. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about insurance cover, co-payments or payment options.

To make your appointment with us as convenient as possible, we offer you the option of simply arranging your consultation online. We are aware of our responsibility and devote the utmost attention to your concerns. The path of functional medicine requires patience and it takes experience to develop solutions that enable health in depth.
