The forest for the trees… It is often the same in conven­tional medi­cine, there is a doctor for each indi­vi­dual tree (organ system), but no one who makes sure that the whole forest (person) is well. In the case of chronic illnesses in parti­cular, many diffe­rent organ systems are often affected and pati­ents often have a veri­table odyssey behind them in their search for a cure. Diffuse symptoms, which at first glance appear to have nothing to do with each other, can some­times be traced back to a single cause. However, it is often a combi­na­tion of many factors that ulti­m­ately lead to an illness. Sometimes an almost detective-​like approach is neces­sary to iden­tify the true origin of the illness.

Our pati­ents often have a long history of suffe­ring behind them without having received a clear diagnosis. We see it as our task to unravel these complex clinical pictures and iden­tify the under­lying causes. Our thera­peutic approa­ches are as varied as our pati­ents’ symptoms. They range from dietary changes and stress manage­ment to natur­opa­thic methods and targeted drug treat­ment concepts. We use a detec­tive approach to find the root of the problem and provide compre­hen­sive treat­ment.
