The forest for the trees... It is often the same in conventional medicine, there is a doctor for each individual tree (organ system), but no one who makes sure that the whole forest (person) is well. In the case of chronic illnesses in particular, many different organ systems are often affected and patients often have a veritable odyssey behind them in their search for a cure. Diffuse symptoms, which at first glance appear to have nothing to do with each other, can sometimes be traced back to a single cause. However, it is often a combination of many factors that ultimately lead to an illness. Sometimes an almost detective-like approach is necessary to identify the true origin of the illness.
Forms of therapy
Our patients often have a long history of suffering behind them without having received a clear diagnosis. We see it as our task to unravel these complex clinical pictures and identify the underlying causes. Our therapeutic approaches are as varied as our patients' symptoms.
