Dr. Dominique Sauter-Peschke

Dr. Dominique Sauter-Peschke, MD, represents a modern approach to medicine that combines evidence-based conventional care with a holistic understanding of health. Her approach integrates internal medicine diagnostics with preventive and functional concepts, aiming to support each patient’s long-term health in a personalized and sustainable way.
She studied at the Technical University of Munich, where she also earned her MD. She completed her residency at leading Munich hospitals, including the German Heart Center Munich and Klinikum rechts der Isar, gaining broad experience in cardiology, nephrology, rheumatology, intensive care, and complex chronic disease management.

Early in her career, she developed a strong interest in preventive approaches and the role of lifestyle factors in both the development and long-term management of disease. This led her to pursue training in nutritional medicine, as well as advanced education in preventive and functional medicine.

In addition, she gained experience in digital health and preventive care, including a leadership role at a health tech company and serving as Medical Supervisor in the development of a startup focused on stress management and performance optimization.

Today, at the Center for Functional Medicine, Dr. Sauter-Peschke takes an integrative approach that blends conventional medicine with modern science, focusing on the whole person.
